Gregg Brooks
Practice Lead, Identity Theft
Gregg serves as the Identity Theft practice lead at Family Office Growth Partners. Gregg will be celebrating his 40th year in the insurance industry in 2020, half of that time spent working with his own company, Worldwide Benefit Services (WBS). Gregg founded WBS in 1999 as an effort to create a company that specializes in creating, designing, marketing, and wholesaling non-insurance service products. WBS created IDTheft Assist, a comprehensive restoration service for identity theft victims that is now part of the largest identity theft program in the country servicing over 20 million subscribers.
A proud graduate of the University of Kentucky, Gregg worked for a number of other well-known insurance organizations before branching out to develop and run his own. Gregg served in a number of various roles in order to learn about the insurance business working as an agent, manager, and a Senior Vice President before becoming the Founder and Principal of his own company. Previous companies he has worked with include the Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Co., Provident Life and Accident, and the National insurance Agency.
Aside from his own professional endeavors, Gregg is enthusiastically passionate and involved in other areas of the insurance industry and altruistically devotes his time to making the industry a better world for all involved. His services within the insurance industry include:

When not working, Gregg spends the majority of his time volunteering through various institutions and organizations in order to try and make his hometown (Louisville, KY) a better place. Gregg’s list of community services include:
